- ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH Into the working program of ISO/TC 92/SC 4 only the subject in the field of building operations was integrated that had high priority, e.g. standardization of the basis for models to calculate the fire development and fire spread and the requirements that are necessary for the use in limited areas. Further SC 4 was enlarged by fields of activity, whose development was worldwide on a level, which made standardization possible. These are the calculation of fire spread in rooms as well as buildings by engineering methods. Furthermore the basis for calculations are standardized for fire spread on neighboring buildings, for fire detection, for activating fire protection devices and for fire suppression and at last rescue of people.
