- Abstract
- A method for the algebraic approximation of attractors recently developed by Foias and Temam is adapted for applicaton to autonomous galloping oscillators. We compare results obtained by algebraic approximation on the one hand and numerical integration on the other. We conclude with an assessment of the limitations of the method as applied to our systems.
