- Abstract
- This report describes the results of laboratory tests of various wet-vented single and two-story plumbing drainage systems. A suggested test or design loading for such systems is developed, and a permissible trap-seal loss for the fixtures of wet-vented systems is proposed. Conclusions regarding the limits under which wet-vented fixtures located on the upper floor of a system will operate satisfactorily are given in a form sufficiently simple for inclusion in plumbing codes.
