- Abstract
- Representative specimens, simulating the performance of five conventional plywood floor systems, were tested under concentrated load in order to compare their performance with that stipulated by performance criteria developed on the basis of anticipated occupancy loads. In 24 out of 26 tests the performance of the specimens exceeded that required by the criteria. Data on failure loads, load-deflection characteristics and failure modes are presented and discussed.
