- Abstract
- A large scale structural fire endurance test program was conducted in order to develop data which would improve the ability of the researcher to predict the performance of building structures during exposure to a fire. Three fire endurance tests were conducted on a two-story, four-bay steel frame test structure. The structural frame was sized to be representative of the mid-height of a mid-rise office building. The details were selected as those which provided the least "built-in" resistance to structural fire endurance.
