- Abstract
- This document contains a report of work carried out under Grant G8-9014 during the period September 1978 to September 1979. Research results for three of the four areas we are studying are described here; these include: Salt Water Modeling of entrainment processes which occur in doorway flows, Computer Modeling of Multi-Compartmented Fires, and Study of Entrainment by Fire Plume. A more complete report is also being prepared of our study of the fourth subject area, Convective Heat Transfer in the early stages of a fire. The latter report will be based on a student's Ph.D. thesis which is presently in the early stages of preparation.
