- Abstract
- The primary objective of this program is to develop a model for the buildup of fire within furniture items. The model is being designed so that it can eventually be incorporated into a room fire computer program such as IITRI's RFIRES code. In developing the furniture item model, basic input data which can be derived from small scale tests will be identified. The small scale tests identified in this manner should be meaningful and can be related to full scale real fires by using the overall room fire model.
