- Abstract
- This report presents the progress made in the third quarter (July 1, 1971-October 1, 1971) on the preignition heat transfer study for fabric-skin systems. A simple analytical model for the moist diathermanous fabric is formulated and numerically solved. Experimental results are presented for the pain and char times of the ten primary fabrics under controlled humidity conditions and in the presence of a skin layer.
