- Abstract
- The Swedish National Testing and Research Institute (SP) has been involved in large scale testing aiming at better understanding of the interaction problems of Sprinkler/Fire Vent. A large scale test series designed for comparison with CFD was performed in 1991 at SP. These tests have been used by number of authors to compare their CFD coded with the results. These tests will be presented shortly as well as the latest SP overview report of the sprinkler/fire vent interaction problem (1996). As a consequence of this overview SP has been asked by the Swedish Fire Research Board (BRANDFORSK) to plan for new tests in this area. The proposed tests will be presented and discussed at the seminar.
