- This notice announces the reopening of the comment period for Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) No. 85-10, which invites comments relative to amending Parts 25 and 121 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) to upgrade the fire safety standards for cabin interior materials in transport category airplances. This reopening is necessary to afford all interested parties an opportunity to present their views on the proposed rulemaking.
