- Abstract
- A Technical Study by the Federal Housing Administration has revealed new facts about tests for flame spreading characteristics of materials used in air-conveying ducts. It shows that such characteristics differ when the material is tested in duct form rather than as a flat surface. This publicaiton presents a proposed procedure for use in evaluating flame spread characteristics of various heating and air conditioning ducts.
