- Abstract
- Project objective: 1) to experimentally and theoretically relate realistic-scale hazardous textiles fire involving upward turbulent fire spread to the "standard" 45 deg. (CS 191-53 or A.A.T.C.C. 33-1962) fabric flammability rating test and other small scale fires through use of the standardized GIRCFF fabrics. 2) to gain an understanding of the mechanism of rapid flame spread along fabric edges.
