- Abstract
- The results of fire resistance tests conducted at the National Research Council of Canada, on three square bar-reinforced concrete filled steel columns, made by the Technical Research Center of Finland are described. They were constructed with Finnish siliceous aggregate concrete. One of the columns was tested under a concentric load. The other two columns, which were similar, were tested under two different eccentric loads for the purpose of obtaining information on the influence of eccentric loads on the fire resistance of the columns.
