- [ABSTRACT IN ENGLIGH] All measures to prevent fires and to minimize fire-spread must be dealt with in the first place under ecological aspects. The fire safety requirements of modern building law comply with these needs, too. The concept of fire safety of buildings, which is based on the regulation for building products of the EG-commission, is also in accordance to this principle. This report also deals with questions concerning dangers to health by fire gases, the emission of harmful gases, retaining of fire fighting water and cleaning of buildings after fires.
