- Abstract
- Candidate CBR protective assemblies were subjected to fuel fire tests at the NADC Fuel Fire Test Facility. Seventy-three assemblies, from each of seven sources and three from an eighth were dressed on a manikin and exposed for 2 seconds in a fire fueled by JP-4. These were two-piece assemblies consisting of trousers and a smock with hood, meant to be worn over other clothing. Temperature sensors were mounted at 30 or more sites on the manikin for measurement of surface temperature. The results consisted of temperature sensor data from the manikin, before and after the exposure. The results are discussed in terms of a generalized potential scenario.
