- Abstract
- The objective of the present study ws to determine the chamical reactivity of acrylic acid-modified nylon 6,6 toward acids and bases, and to compare its characteristics with those of related materials such as nylon 6,6 and polyacrylic acid. The work reported covers a study of the equilibrium characteristics of this graft copolymer, particularly in reactions with alkali metal bases. Rate studies are being carried out and will be reported later.
