- Agrement provides assessment of unorthodox techniques and products in the building industry and establishes criteria for satisfactory performance of buildings and components. Inspectors must ensure maintenance of the required quality in practice. Agrement Certificate 70/02 describes a particular system of construction and the uses for which it is deemed satisfactory. Behavior in fire, thermal performance, durability, constructional details, and design data are dealt with. Checking against, the Certificate, use of alternative materials, handling of confidential information, feedback of information and mainteneance problems with proprietary novel materials are discussed.
