- Abstract
- The Research on Instrumented Mannikin Program is a 15-month effort which will yield two instrumented mannikins for use in fire test of protective clothing and their associated data acquisition and data reduction systems. This report covers progress from 1 August to 31 August 1971. Primary accomplishments for this reporting period were: 1. Completion of the Literature Search (Task 1); 2. Selection of a Mannikin Source; 3. Continuing work in the following areas: 1. sensor module design; 2. sensor selection; 3. materials selection; 4. systems definition; 5. thermal analysis.
