- Abstract
- The Protection Branch recently conducted a complete fire protection survey of the Archives Building. The survey was recommended by the Ad Hoc Committee that investigated the fire of February 7, 1965, at the subject building. This report outlines the findings, conclusions and recommendations reached as a result of the survey. This report is divided into two parts: Part 1 covers general fire protection requirements, while Part 2 deals with specific fire protection needed because of the extraordinary value of the contents. Attached is a typical floor plan and a list of references which can be consulted for more detailed information on subjects covered.
