- This progress report of the program entitled "Fire Tests of Reinforced Concrete Beams," sponsored by the National Bureau of Standards, under Grant No. G8-9027, gives details covering the first phase of the program. Work comprising two phases of the program spans an 18-month period. The first phase covers fabrication and curing of specimens. The final phase involves fire tests and data analyses. Objectives of this program are to validate by means of experimental data, the computer program developed by the sponsor and to study shear behavior of continuous beams during fires.
