Abstract
This appendix presents the results of the analysis of fire damage in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana following the hypothetical "first-interation" attack of the Five-City Study. These results are expressed in terms of the distribution of initial fires and the growth and spread of fire as a function of time up to final burnout. The scope of the study was limited by our inability to evaluate the effects on fire behavior caused by the extensive blast damage that would result to the city from the hypothetical atack.
