Abstract
This report covers tests conducted by the Engineer Research and Development Laboratories to determine the relative merits of water fog applied at high and low pressures in the extinguishment of fires involving inflammable liquids and ordinary combustible materials. For the purpose of this investigation low pressure fog is defined as that produced by pressures (obtainable with present standard equipment) up to 250 psi andhigh pressure fog as that produced by pressures above 250 psi.
