- Abstract
- Presented herein is a report on a study of home fire detection systems, conducted for the Village of Bayside, Wisconsin. The purposes of the study were: (1) present objective data on the various types of detectors and detection systems available, including data on suitability and costs; (2) develop recommendations for the most suitable home fire detection systems to meet the needs of the residents ofBayside, and (3) present a method by which the village can provide adequate controls over installation to help assure that the residents are achieving the level of service which should be reasonably expected.
